Phillip Hahn Phillip C. Hahn, 64, of Aliquippa, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Hahn; two daughters, Lori Frocek and her husband John of Wilmington, DE and Kristin Bennett and her husband Brian of Emsworth; his mother, Marion Hahn of Ohio Township; two siblings, Robert and his wife Cheryl of Evans City and Gloria of Ohio Township; three grandchildren, Zane, Luke and Anna; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward W. Hahn; and his brother, Edward C. Hahn.

Louise Griffith Louise Rose Conte Griffith, 83, of Newton, MA, formerly of Monongahela and wife of the late Blair A. Griffith, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. Mrs. Griffith was a 1945 graduate of Monongahela High School and a 1949 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in journalism. She worked at West Penn Power in the public relations department, then taught for 20 years in the Franklin Regional School District. She enjoyed politics, sports, reading and crossword puzzles.

Bellevue is among some 10 communities competing to become the next chosen for a business district revitalization program.

Representatives of the Allegheny County economic development department, the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation and Town Center Associates told Bellevue officials at Tuesday's borough council meeting that they work through the Allegheny Together program to provide resources to municipalities hoping to revitalize main street business districts.
