No, that is not actually true. I love grocery stores, I just hate shopping in them.

Being a person with little to no patience and no tolerance for inefficiency, I am a big fan of grocery stores that truly deserve the name "supermarket," which sell just about everything you could possibly want all under one roof.

Enjoy a “Ladies Day Out” at the Ohio Township Community Park Nature Center on April 16, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The event will include Avon, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, Thirty-One (handbags and purses), Southern Living Home, Longaberger, Tupperware, Jafra, Cookie Lee, Party Lite, Watkins, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Bare Foot Books, Rada Cutlery and Silpada. My Gold Rush will exchange gold, silver and platinum jewelry for cash.

Multicultural dinner celebrates diversity

In an effort to promote cultural diversity and a global perspective within the community, Avonworth High School will hold its second annual multicultural dinner festival on Feb. 6, starting at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

The opening attraction of the evening -- food -- will feature cuisine prepared by parents, teachers and students, as well as by restaurants.
