Theresa Zinkhan Theresa E. Zinkhan, 89, of Avalon, formerly of Wexford and wife of the late William "Pete" Zinkhan, died Friday, March 30, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Marion Maniet and her husband David; three siblings, Mary Wolfarth, Edward and James Devine; and two grandsons, David Maniet Jr. and William Maniet. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Paul and Florence Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Anthony Morris Anthony G. Morris III, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Mr. Morris served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of foreign wars. He was a Stowe Township, McKees Rocks and Avalon police officer and a campus police lieutenant at Thiel College. He is survived by his parents, Ada and Anthony Morris; a brother, Joe and Melee Morris; his grandmother, Gladys Milender; neices and nephews, Ian, Jasmine, and Kiera Schon, Brianna Clark and Aaron and Xavier Morris; cousins and friends.

Janet Sill Janet L. Sill, 73, of Ross Township, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. Mrs. Sill was a nurse's aide at Little Sisters of the Poor for 28 years. She is survived by her husband, George J. Sill; five children, Kathy Dostlik, Michael Sill and his wife Denise, Janet J. Sill, LynnDee Henc and her husband David and Robbie L. Sill; five siblings, Lois Booth, Joyce Scherle, Raymond Reihart, David W. Reihart Jr. and Mary Bliss; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Saylor.

She is survived by two children, Joane Lapsley and her husband David and Frank L. Klasterka and his wife Lisa; her sister, Anna Marie Zacharias; three grandchildren, Bill Lapsley, Frank and Katelyn Klasterka; and nieces and nephews. Theodore Andartes Theodore J. Andartes, formerly of Emsworth and husband of the late Dorothy Andartes, died Thursday, July 8, 2010. Mr. Andartes was a Mason and member of the North Hills Lodge. He was a former elder at Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church. He is survived by five children, Gloria Moss, Barbara Fonzi, Donna Faynor, John Andartes and Dorothy Derbish; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Andartes and Madeline Britsch.

Patricia Synan Patricia Ann “Patti” Synan of West View died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. Mrs. Synan was the owner and operator of Patti's Styling Salon in Bellevue. She was a professional hair stylist in various salons in the North Hills for more than 20 years before opening her own salon in 1989. She enjoyed cruises with family members and dinners with friends.
