Route 65 Ramp Long-Term Closure Begins Monday

PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists southbound Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) approaching the inbound (southbound) Fort Duquesne Bridge (I-279) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will be closed long-term beginning on Monday, June 7.

Northgate H1N1 vaccinations The Northgate School District has announced dates for H1N1 vaccinations for students in grades 5-12.

Superintendent Dr. Reggie Bonfield said, at the school board's regular meeting on Monday, that students in grades 9-12 will be able to receive the vaccine on Monday, Oct. 26, and Monday, Nov. 2, from 2 to 7 p.m.

Bonfield said that students in grades 5-8, who are 10 years old or older, will be able to receive the vaccine on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 2 to 7 p.m.

Traffic restrictions

Motorists can expect delays due to traffic restrictions on a couple different state highways.

I-279 (the Parkway North) will be reduced to a single lane southbound this weekend, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday and continuing thgrough 4 p.m. on Sun-day.

The state will be patching concrete between the Bellevue/West View and I-79 interchanges. No northbound lane restrictions are planned for this weekend.
