Alma Fleming Alma Eleanor Oestreicher Fleming, 97, of Wadsworth, OH, formerly of Kilbuck Township and wife of the late James D. Fleming, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Livingston and her husband Paul; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three nephews; and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Nellie Oestreicher; and her brother, Charles Oestreicher and his wife Helene. Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side, until the time of services on Friday. Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery.

Robert Schafers Robert H. Schafers, 84, of Kennedy Township, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 in Ohio Valley Hospital. Mr. Schafers was retired from Alcosan with 28 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Dominic Angeloini Dominic A. Angeloini, 80, of the North Side, husband of the late Catherine M. Angeloini, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011. He is survived by three daughters, Angie and her husband Todd, Patty and her husband Brian and Toni and her husband Jack; his sister, Philomena; six grandchildren, Christina, Brandon, Nicole, Ashley, Zackery and Miranda; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and J.T.; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and his dog, Ginger. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Angeloini; and two siblings, Art Angeloini and Betty McBurney.

Pauline Klasterka Pauline R. Yankovic Klasterka, 88, of Ross Township, wife of the late Frank E. Klasterka, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. She is survived by two children, Joane Lapsley and her husband David and Frank L. Klasterka and his wife Lisa; her sister, Anna Marie Zacharias; three grandchildren, Bill Lapsley, Frank and Katelyn Klasterka; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Miller and Eleanor Hirsch.

Audrey Andrews Audrey E. Andrews, 91, of Brighton Heights, formerly of Warrendale, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010. She is survived by four children, Barbara Hyde, Joanne Hyde, Andrew Golden and his wife Kathleen and Maureen Golden; four grandchildren, Jeff, Sherry, Jay and Afton; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Eva Andrews. Services and burial were private. Memorial contributions are suggested to Forbes Hospice. Arrangements were made by McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon.

William Chapman William H. Chapman, 83, of Franklin Park, formerly of Ross Township and Bellevue, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010. Mr. Chapman served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS LST 1059 as Seaman 1st Class in the Pacific Theatre and then in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a graduate of Robert Morris College with a degree in business. He completed his graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of McKinley-Stuckrath Masonic Lodge #318 for 56 years and a member of West View VFW. He was a sports enthusiast, an avid supporter of animal conservation and an outdoorsman.

Richard McKiernan Richard J. "Dick" McKiernan, 89, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry, formerly of Bellevue and husband of the late Barbara Hamilton McKiernan, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. Mr. McKiernan was a World War II, U.S. Navy veteran stationed aboard the U.S.S. Whale submarine. He was retired from Duquesne Light Co., where he was a supervisor.

Judith California Judith Ann Papania California, 44, of Ross Township,. died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010. Mrs. California was a graduate of North Hills High School and Carnegie Mellon University. She worked as a chemical engineer for several years.

Eleanor Lundberg Eleanor Y. Yoders Lundberg, 86, of Bellevue, wife of the late George C. Lundberg, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010. Mrs. Lundberg was a longtime member of Bellevue Central United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed bowling with the Morning Glories bowling league. She is survived by her son, Carl Lundberg and his wife Chris; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Warden and Harry Yoders, Bertha Comstock, Dorothy Trimble and Florella Myers.

Ralph Smith Ralph E. "Bud" Smith, 85, of Bellevue, died Monday, July 19, 2010. Mr. Smith was a 1944 graduate of Bellevue High School and attended Pittsburgh Accountancy Academy, now Robert Morris University. He was a career life underwriter and was retired from Children's Hospital. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, past president of Avalon/Bellevue Kiwanis and a longtime member of Greenstone United Methodist Church in Avalon. He enjoyed his petunia garden.

Michael Hilf Michael K. Hilf, 49, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Avalon, died Sunday, May 30, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lucina Hilf; two daughters, Ashley and Becky; two sisters, Linda Hilf and Kathy Schreibeis and her husband Milton; and nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Lou Hilf. Friends were received at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry until the time of services on Saturday. Elizabeth Platek Elizabeth M. Platek, 78, wife of the late Lawrence B. Platek, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Platek; four siblings, George and Robert Henrish, Margaret Nolfe and Florence DeAngelis; nieces and nephews; and her pets, Xena and Misha. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa and Jody Ann Platek; and six siblings, Michael, John and James Henrish, Anna Matusky, Kathryn Davenport and Helen Mezzetti.

Edith Freed Edith McClelland Freed, 93, formerly of Bellevue and wife of the late David S. McClelland and Charles W. Freed, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 in Baptist Home. Mrs. Freed was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She is survived by three children, Donald K. McClelland, Sharon L. Freed and Patricia E. Fasciano and her husband David; her grandson, Marc McClelland; her sister-in-law, Lucille McClelland; her goddaughter, Patti Drake; and nieces and nephews.

Daniel K. Fiorenzo Daniel K. Fiorenzo, 52, of Bellevue, died Saturday Aug. 1, 2009. He was a member of BAC Local 9. He leaves his wife, Leslie (Bunce); six sons, Daniel G., Bryan F., David D., Erik R., Richard C., and Jacob J., all of Bellevue; his mother, Hilda Fiorenzo; a sister, Janice Pletz of Bethal Park; and brother Anthony of Bellevue. He was preceded in death by his father, Generoso; and two brothers, Philip and Richard Fiorenzo. Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home in Bellevue, where a blessing service was held Wednesday.
