A man who told police he broke into two Avalon homes in an effort to evade the Pagan motorcycle gang has been charged with criminal trespass.
Avalon Police were called to a North School Street residence on Nov. 22 when a burglary-in-progress was reported. Inside the home, they found John Roose, 36, of Sharpsburg, in the kitchen, dressed only in a gray thermal shirt and blue underwear. He was bleeding from cuts on his legs and feet.
