Game machines were broken into and cash stolen, along with televisions, during a burglary at Anthony’s on Ohio River Boulevard that was discovered Aug. 6. Allegheny County Police detectives were called to investigate.

A South Chestnut Avenue resident reported Aug. 10 that a grill had been stolen from the back porch of the home, along with the grill cover and two propane tanks.

Daniel Condit, 41, of North Balph Avenue, Bellevue, was charged with driving under the influence on New Brighton Road following a motor vehicle accident on Aug. 8.

Two robberies, an aggravated assault, and a rash of home burglaries are being investigated by Bellevue Police.

A Greenough Avenue resident reported Aug. 3 that he had been assaulted by two males, one of whom was armed with a gun. Police say the incident is still being investigated.

A white male who showed a handgun reportedly robbed a homeless man on North Balph Avenue on July 21. The victim reported $20 had been stolen.

A Pittsburgh resident reported being the victim of a pickpocket on July 31 in the Dollar General Store.
