Robert Schafers Robert H. Schafers, 84, of Kennedy Township, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 in Ohio Valley Hospital. Mr. Schafers was retired from Alcosan with 28 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Eleanor Dvorsky Eleanor H. Herstich Dvorsky, 82, of Ross Township, wife of the late Joseph A. Dvorsky, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Mrs. Dvorsky retired as a nurse from Suburban General Hospital where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of St. Gabriel Parish and Risen Lord Church.

Mary M. Carte Mary M. Carte, 73 of Steubenville, OH, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Weirton Medical Center. Mrs. Carte was born on Aug. 19, 1936 in Emsworth. She was retired from Suburban General Hospital in as a nurse. She was Catholic by faith, and was a volunteer for the United Way and Red Cross. She was past president of the Women’s Club, and enjoyed reading, line dancing and bowling.

Carolyn Koll Carolyn J. Rankin Koll, 87, of Avalon, wife of the late Richard F. Koll Sr., died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010. Mrs. Koll was retired from Kaufmann's department store, where she had worked for many years. She was an avid card player and was a member of the same card club for more than 50 years.
