Things will be getting pretty wild around Northgate High School, thanks to four students in Sam Donini’s biology class.
As part of the PA Game Commission’s “Seedlings to Develop Habitat” program, students Sarah Dunn, Mitch Vacek, Ed Mancini and Kayla Saylor planted 80 crab apple, pin oak, white pine and red elderberry seedlings around school property, where they will grow into a wildlife habitat for the area’s turkeys, deer, squirrels and birds. Pictured above from left are Donini, Vacek, Dunn and Mancini.
