Louise Griffith Louise Rose Conte Griffith, 83, of Newton, MA, formerly of Monongahela and wife of the late Blair A. Griffith, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. Mrs. Griffith was a 1945 graduate of Monongahela High School and a 1949 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in journalism. She worked at West Penn Power in the public relations department, then taught for 20 years in the Franklin Regional School District. She enjoyed politics, sports, reading and crossword puzzles.

Linda Fader Linda Suzanne (Rudy) Fader, 58, of Kilbuck Township, wife of John D. Fader, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010. Mrs. Fader loved sailing on her and her husband’s boat, the Dalliance, in the Chesapeake Bay, and was there at the time of her death. She was a gourmet cook who also loved to sew. Her hobbies included a Fortnightly Study Group and art classes.

Patricia Synan Patricia Ann “Patti” Synan of West View died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. Mrs. Synan was the owner and operator of Patti's Styling Salon in Bellevue. She was a professional hair stylist in various salons in the North Hills for more than 20 years before opening her own salon in 1989. She enjoyed cruises with family members and dinners with friends.
