The 65th annual Avonworth Community Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30, beginning at 10 a.m. in Emsworth.

The parade is sponsored by the Avonworth American Legion Post 866 and the Avonworth communities.

The parade will march along Center Avenue in Emsworth and continue along Church Avenue in Ben Avon and end at the Lance Cpl. Patrick Kenny Field on Ohio River Boulevard. Services will begin at 11 a.m. to honor Avonworth veterans. The guest speaker will be Capt. Andrew Zeltwanger.

The 64th annual Avonworth community Memorial Day parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 31, with a few changes this year to accommodate weight restrictions placed on the Center Avenue bridge.
