Grace Heppenstall Grace Armstrong Heppenstall of Avalon, wife of the late Max R. Heppenstall, died Sunday, March 7, 2010. She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Grimshaw and Jean Krepps; and five nieces and nephews, George Grimshaw, John Grimshaw, Mary Grimshaw-Donovan, Karen Krepps-Wood and Tom Krepps. There was no visitation and services were private. Burial was in Homewood Cemetery. Arrangements were made by H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, North Hills.

Mary Lubbert Mary E. Lubbert of Avalon, wife of the late Harry Lubbert Jr., died Thursday, March 4, 2010.

Robert Harkins Robert G. Harkins, 58, of South Park, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009.

Mr. Harkins was a systems analyst at the Information Security Group of UPMC Churchill Center. He was a graduate of North Hills High School and received a bachelor of science degree in chmistry from Duquesne University, and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He was an avid supporter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Diabetes Association through cycling.

Alice Lang Alice M. Logue Lang of Avalon died Friday, June 26, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Wenzel Lang; three sons, Richard Lang of Bellevue, Russell Lang and his wife Carol of Squirrel Hill and Mark Lang and his wife Kim of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Lois Logue Thomas; two grandsons, Matthew and his wife Jessica of Ann Arbor, MI and Brian of Pittsburgh; and a great-grandchild, Callum of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Logue; and three siblings, Thomas, James and Vera Logue.
