Rose Roehrig Rose Louise Riggs Roehrig, 85, of Walnut Creek, CA, formerly of Brighton Heights and wife of the late Chuck Roehrig, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010. Mrs. Roehrig was a 1943 graduate of North Allegheny High School. She had been a member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Church and a cheerleading coach. She participated in civic arts plays and church bazaars. She owned and managed Riggs Lounge and Restaurant from 1965 to 1983.

Richard McKiernan Richard J. "Dick" McKiernan, 89, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry, formerly of Bellevue and husband of the late Barbara Hamilton McKiernan, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. Mr. McKiernan was a World War II, U.S. Navy veteran stationed aboard the U.S.S. Whale submarine. He was retired from Duquesne Light Co., where he was a supervisor.

Walter Zotter Walter J. "Zotter the Potter" Zotter, 59 of South Side died Saturday, May 29, 2010. Mr. Zotter operated Zotter Pottery since 1976 and his pottery was sold all over the U.S. and foreign countries. He was a graduate of Avonworth High School and Thiel College. He was an avid cyclist.

David Galvin David W. Galvin of Butler, PA died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Fay Tegge Galvin; three siblings, Patricia Crawford and her husband Edward, Timothy J. Galvin and his wife Debbie of GA and James T. Galvin of Bethel Park; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy A. Galvin. Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Saturday.

Elizabeth Kenny Elizabeth T. Kenny, 89, of Bellevue, died Thursday, May 13, 2010.

Elizabeth Croker Elizabeth “Betty” Muckian Croker, 82, of Avalon, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Elvin “Sonny” Croker; her brother, Raymond Muckian; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Mary Rita, Dorothy, Bernard, Eileen and Martin Muckian. Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday.
