The crossover currently in place on Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in the area of the I-79 interchange in Glenfield will end on Friday, Nov. 5, weather permitting.

Northbound traffic will be switched back onto the newly reconstructed northbound lanes; however, traffic on Route 65 will remain a single lane in each direction through late December. Work to implement the transition will begin at 7 a.m. on Friday.

The ramp currently being used as the temporary off-ramp from northbound Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) to the Glenfield Viaduct/Kilbuck Street/I-79 in Glenfield Borough will be closed beginning Friday, July 23, weather permitting.

The ramp closure will occur from 7 a.m. on Friday through Oct. 1. The closure is necessary as crews begin slope repairs.

Motorists should expect traffic restrictions on two state roads in the area.

Slope and shoulder stabilization work is being conducted on Toms Run Road in Kilbuck Township. The road will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Duff Road and Route 65 as necessary between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays.

The work is expected to continue through late April.

Route 65 in Glenfield, in the area of the I-79 interchange, will see traffic restrictions and crossover pattern changes as the first phase of work begins Monday to improve the interchange.
