Carl Trimber Carl E. Trimber, 79, of Ross Township, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Mr. Trimber was retired as a teacher and coach at Northgate High School for more than 34 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an avid runner. He is survived by his wife, Bette Nazzaro Trimber; two daughters, Sharon and Lisa Trimber; his sister, Margaret Dalzell; and nieces and nephews.

M.L. "Petey" Hager On Dec. 27, 2012 Petey passed away quietly at the age of 89 in Sykesville, MD. Her energy, enthusiasm and spirit for life will be incredibly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Ave., followed by a social gathering in the fellowship room to celebrate her life.

Sarah Neuherz Sarah Kathleen Beggs Neuherz, 85, of Avalon, died Saturday, March 9, 2013. Mrs. Neuherz worked as a military secretary. She was a telephone operator for many years. She is survived by eight children, Linda, Steve and his wife Lynn, John, Mark and his wife Debbie, Thomas and his wife Nancy, Timothy, Robert and his wife Debbie and Gerald; her sister, Joyce Winn; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Joseph Neuherz.

Nancy Brooks Nancy Jean Brooks, 76, of Kilbuck Township, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013. Mrs. Brooks was a summa cum laude graduate of Duquesne University. She was an administrator and educator at Eden Christian Academy for 15 years. She is survived by her husband, M. Richard Brooks; two sons, Richard L. Brooks and his wife Donna and Ronald Charles Brooks and his wife Lynda; five siblings, Virginia Held, Karen Miller, Kathryn Nordorff, Jim and John Kirch; and three grandchildren, Richard L. II, Dayna J. and David Brooks.

Elsie Scialabba Elsie L. Macaluso Scialabba, 100, of Cohasset, MA, formerly of Metowers in Avalon and wife of the late Sam Scialabba, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 in Sunrise Assisted Living in Cohasset. Mrs. Scialabba was a longtime member of the Church of the Assumption.

Anthony R. Bisese Anthony R. Bisese of Ross Township, on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. Dearest husband of 66 years to Phyllis (DeRubbo) Bisese; loving father of David J. Bisese (Lisa) and Amy B. Keener (Scott); brother of Joseph Bisese, Charles Bisese, and the late Robert Bisese and Laura Hubbard; loving grandfather of Stephanie, Emily, and Kimberly; step-grandfather of Kellsie. Friends were received Sunday at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills, where a Blessing Service was held Monday at 11 a.m. Tony was an avid golfer at North Park Golf Course.

Dennis Michaels Dennis J. Michaels, 65, of Ross Township, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. Mr. Michaels was a retired audit supervisor for the Liquor Control Board. He is survived by his wife, Janet Olszewski Michaels; three children, Stephanie Ondo and her husband Ron, Dennis Michaels and his wife Jessica and Elizabeth Michaels and her husband Jason Manse; and five grandchildren, Anthony and Natalie Ondo, Dennis Michaels III, Bradley Michaels and Lola Manse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Sophie Michaels.

Anthony Rekasie Anthony L. Rekasie, 92, husband of the late Doris B. Rekasie, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012. Mr. Rekasie was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by three children, Cheryl Brown and her husband Lloyd, Joyce Wright and her husband Phillip and Larry Rekasie and his wife Amy; his sister, Anna Spece; and three grandsons, Chad and Cory Rekasie and Travis Wright. He was preceded in death by four brothers. Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Saturday.

Julia Bamberger Julia Bamberger, 97, of Bellevue, wife of the late William Bamberger, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012. She is survived by four children, Richard Bamberger, William Bamberger, Connie Redman and Barbara Boyd and her husband Howard; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kay Bamberger. Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Burial was in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Daughter of the late Louis and Erminia Scandrole. Loving mother of Deanna Kuder and Marilyn (the late Brent) Adams. Proud grandmother of Daniel and Jason. Sister of Virginia (the late Ken) Bagnato of Bemville, formerly of Willock, and the late Ruth (Max) Brown. Also survived by nieces, Marisa and Lisa, and nephew, Richard.
