Bellevue Police investigated a burglary at a South Balph Avenue residence on Dec. 21.

Several thefts from vehicles were reported to police. Thefts were reported from vehicles on Forest Avenue on Dec. 21, Highland Place on Dec. 27, Summit Avenue on Dec. 27, two vehicles on Shade Avenue on Dec. 29, and another on North Jackson Avenue on Dec. 29.

Packages delivered by the post office were reported stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 400 block of Teece Avenue on Dec. 21.

Robert Kitchen, 44, of Bellevue, was charged with robbery on Dec. 21.

Paul DeWalt Paul C. DeWalt, 61, of Avalon, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Klixbull DeWalt; three children, Zachary, Sarah and Jacob DeWalt; his mother, Inis DeWalt; his sister, Beth DeWalt; three brothers-in-law, Thomas L. Klixbull and his wife Janet, Richart J. Klixbull and his wife Susan and Robert E. Klixbull and his wife Eileen; a sister-in-law, Linda S. Sanderson and her husband Sandy; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis DeWalt; and two brothers, John and Robert DeWalt.

Janet Sill Janet L. Sill, 73, of Ross Township, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. Mrs. Sill was a nurse's aide at Little Sisters of the Poor for 28 years. She is survived by her husband, George J. Sill; five children, Kathy Dostlik, Michael Sill and his wife Denise, Janet J. Sill, LynnDee Henc and her husband David and Robbie L. Sill; five siblings, Lois Booth, Joyce Scherle, Raymond Reihart, David W. Reihart Jr. and Mary Bliss; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Saylor.

Robert Schafers Robert H. Schafers, 84, of Kennedy Township, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 in Ohio Valley Hospital. Mr. Schafers was retired from Alcosan with 28 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

William Kisling Sr. William R. Kisling Sr., 78, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, June 29 2011. Mr. Kisling was a longtime member of Northgate Church. He was an avid sportsman and outsdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. Kisling; four sons, John R. Kisling and his wife Jean, Thomas W. Kisling and his wife Toni, William R. Kisling Jr. and Ty Kisling; two sisters, Irene Roof and her husband Jack and Virginia Klimko and her husband Edward; and five grandchildren, Kelly, Brian, Zachary, Justin and Tyler Kisling.

Mary DeFrank Mary G. Carcara DeFrank, 89, formerly of the North Side and wife of the late Michael J. DeFrank, died Thursday, June 9, 2011. Mrs. DeFrank had been a teacher in the Catholic schools of the North Side for many years.

A laptop computer and PS3 machine were reported stolen during a burglary at a home in the 400 block of Dawson Avenue on May 3.

A spaghetti dinner will be held Sunday, June 5, noon - 5 p.m. at Risen Lord Education Center, 3250 California Ave., Brighton Heights.

Tickets for adults are $6.50, and for children ages 12 and younger, $4.50.

Catherine E. Desso Catherine E. (Cass) Desso, 91 of Leeper, PA, formerly of Bellevue died January 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by Paul, her husband of 52 years. She retired from Suburban General Hospital after 18 years as a pediatric supervisor. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and a charter member of the Christian Mothers Guild at Assumption Church.

Pauline Klasterka Pauline R. Yankovic Klasterka, 88, of Ross Township, wife of the late Frank E. Klasterka, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. She is survived by two children, Joane Lapsley and her husband David and Frank L. Klasterka and his wife Lisa; her sister, Anna Marie Zacharias; three grandchildren, Bill Lapsley, Frank and Katelyn Klasterka; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Miller and Eleanor Hirsch.

She is survived by four children, Barbara Hyde, Joanne Hyde, Andrew Golden and his wife Kathleen and Maureen Golden; four grandchildren, Jeff, Sherry, Jay and Afton; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Eva Andrews. Services and burial were private. Memorial contributions are suggested to Forbes Hospice. Rose Roehrig Rose Louise Riggs Roehrig, 85, of Walnut Creek, CA, formerly of Brighton Heights and wife of the late Chuck Roehrig, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010. Mrs. Roehrig was a 1943 graduate of North Allegheny High School. She had been a member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Church and a cheerleading coach. She participated in civic arts plays and church bazaars. She owned and managed Riggs Lounge and Restaurant from 1965 to 1983.

Eleanor Lundberg Eleanor Y. Yoders Lundberg, 86, of Bellevue, wife of the late George C. Lundberg, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010. Mrs. Lundberg was a longtime member of Bellevue Central United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed bowling with the Morning Glories bowling league. She is survived by her son, Carl Lundberg and his wife Chris; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Warden and Harry Yoders, Bertha Comstock, Dorothy Trimble and Florella Myers.

Dunbar III and his wife Janice, Debra A. Walker and Daniel D. Dunbar and his wife Christine; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. There was no visitation and services and burial were private. Some 80 percent of the people who now receive care at Allegheny General Hospital - Suburban Campus will continue to do so when changes in service are instituted this August. That was the message representatives of the West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS) brought to a town hall meeting in Bellevue, held one day after WPAHS announced that the emergency department and inpatient care would be taken off life support in 90 days.

She is survived by six nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; and two great-grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Julia Majestic; and five siblings, George J., Frank G., Joseph M., Albert H. and Margaret Majestic.
