Members of the Northgate chorus delivered a program of holiday cheer to New Hope Assisted Living in Avalon on Wednesday afternoon when they sang a program of Christmas carols for dozens of residents who gathered in the social hall. With the season’s first snowfall seen drifting past background windows, the students sang traditional as well as modern selections, passing out lyrics for the audience to join in on several songs. The program was arranged and conducted by Northgate choral director Kelly Winovich.
