

The Assumption Theater Guild will stage “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on two consecutive weekends, Saturdays, March 19 and 26 at 7 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. on March 20 and 27. The musical, which tells the Biblical story of Joseph and his brothers who sell him into Egyptian slavery, is the first show written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, who went on to create other popular productions, such as “Phantom of the Opera” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.” The show will be staged in McGovern Hall.Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens, 65 and older, and for children, 11 and younger.
