After exchanging their vows of love in a wedding ceremony at Phipps Conservatory last Sunday, Scott Tullar and Julie Moehring showed their love for the Penguins by slipping on jerseys over wedding gown and suit for a photo at Mellon Arena. Julie, a 1994 Avonworth grad, teaches math at her alma mater. She is the daughter of Larry and Margery Moehring of Kennedy. Scott, Avonworth Class of ’93, is the assistant manager of Advance Auto Parts in Ross Township. He is the son of Ken Tullar of Ohio Town-ship and Connie Tullar of Bellevue.

After a Cancun honeymoon, the couple will live in the Pittsburgh area.

The avid fans were greeted by passing drivers tooting horns and shouting words of congratulations during the photo session. Someone yelled from a car, “You’re Number One, too!”
