Since 1927, Christian women around the world have gathered on the first Friday of March to pray for peace. This year, on March 2, at 1 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, the service will be held for the North Boroughs community.

A reception will follow the service. Parking is available. All are welcome.

Last year, 48 people from 12 local congregations gathered for prayer, led by eight women from local churches. An offering of over $500 was sent for use in women's and children's programs in the USA.
