Many employers in the North Boroughs will be submitting payroll taxes to a new collector this year, with some beginning as early as the first quarter deadline that is quickly approaching.

Although mandatory regional collection of local employment will not take effect until next January, many municipalities have made an early switch to the Keystone Collections Group, which will handle mandatory collections for the northern Allegheny County area.

Keystone will hold free educational seminars for local employers in both the Northgate and Avonworth school districts. On April 21, seminars will be held in the Avalon borough building at 9 a.m., and in the Bellevue borough building at 1 p.m. On April 25, seminars will be held at Avonworth High School at 4 or 7:30 p.m. Register at seminar@keystonecollects.com.
