Rusted Root will perform at the 11th annual Allegheny County Music Festival on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the amphitheater in Hartwood. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Allegheny County Department of Human Services, which organizes the event, is requesting a $20 per car donation to benefit the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund. The Music Festival Fund aims to improve the lives of children served by DHS by providing opportunities for children to participate in activities such as dance lessons, summer camp and museum memberships.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and arrive early to stake out their area on the lawn. Raffle tickets for a grand prize of $1,500 will be available for purchase at the event for $5 each, with proceeds benefiting the Music Festival Fund.
