A Halloween parade through Avalon and Bellevue will be followed by a Fall Festival in Bayne Park on Saturday, Oct. 30.
Registration for children and adults in costume will begin at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of Avalon Elementary School. The parade will begin from there at 11 a.m.
The parade is sponsored by the North Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
There will be a number of activities and entertainment in Bayne Park following the parade, including a magician, a clown, face painting, puppets, games, crafts and a pumpkin give-away.
In case of rain, the Fall Festival activities will take place in the Bellevue borough hall.
