Avalon Library will hold an "Evening of Coffee Tasting and Dessert" on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6:30 until 8 p.m.

Several coffees from 21st Street Coffee and Tea will be featured, as well as an Italian dessert by Mia Madre Trattoria.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at the library.
