The author of the novel "Excessive Forces, a Pittsburgh Police Thriller" will visit Bayne Library in Bellevue on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m.

Real-life Pittsburgh area police detective Dennis Marsili will discuss his novel that is set in Pittsburgh and full of characters drawn from his years in local law enforcement.
