An Avonworth girls' volleyball team player has been named to a Class A All-WPIAL team.

Lauren Mayernik was named second team All-WPIAL.

A number Avonworth girls were named to the Class A All-Section first team. Named were: Mayernik, Katie Werley and Julianne Hirsch. Mikell Schlumpf was named second team All-Section.
