Motorists can expect delays due to traffic restrictions on a couple different state highways.

I-279 (the Parkway North) will be reduced to a single lane southbound this weekend, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday and continuing thgrough 4 p.m. on Sun-day.

The state will be patching concrete between the Bellevue/West View and I-79 interchanges. No northbound lane restrictions are planned for this weekend.

Major traffic restrictions on the McKees Rocks Bridge will begin Wednesday, June 10, when the westbound lanes from Route 65 toward McKees Rocks are completely closed, and eastbound traffic is reduced to a single lane.

These restrictions will remain in effect through late August while concrete is patched and expansion dams are replaced.

Motorists traveling from Route 65 are advised to use the West End Bridge to reach Route 51, then tra-vel north to McKees Rocks.
