In the absence of elected real estate tax collectors in two municipalities, the Avonworth School Board voted at its April 12 meeting to appoint the companies currently collecting taxes in Kilbuck and Ben Avon Heights.

Centrax will collect Avonworth property taxes in Kilbuck Township, and Berkheimer and Associates will do the same in Ben Avon Heights for the next four years.
