PennDOT District 11, in cooperation with Columbia Gas, is announcing lane closures on Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in Avalon will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 17-18.

Columbia Gas will be performing gas line work in advance of an upcoming PennDOT project to replace the deck on the bridge that carries Route 65 over Birmingham Avenue. Temporary short-term lane closures will occur as needed in both directions on Route 65 between Locust Street and South Ohio Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
