Police mow the “grass”

Following a tip from a suspicious resident, Ohio Township Police discovered marijuana growing in two locations and made an arrest of the alleged “gardener.”

Police found Thomas Kastory, 21, of Emsworth, in a vacant Kilbuck Township field with four marijuana plants on Aug. 10. Officers then obtained a search warrant for Kastory’s home, where they five additional plants growing in a garden next to the house. A search of the interior produced paraphernalia, police say.

Kastory has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and paraphernalia possession.
