Betty Jane Titler
Betty Jane Sharpnack Stevenson Titler, 86, of Avalon, formerly of Brownsville and Youngstown and wife of the late Eugene Stevenson and Guy Titler, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010.
Mrs. Titler was a registered nurse, taking care of veterans of World War II. She then worked in Ohio and at Bellevue Suburban General Hospital in the neonatal unit. She enjoyed reading, playing the slot machines and watching soap operas.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Gieder and her husband Paul; two stepsons, Guy Titler and his wife Liz and Tod Titler and his wife Penny; her sister, Blanche Funkhouser and her husband John; eight grandchildren, Darren Murphy and his wife Evon, Gregory Murphy and his wife Jayne, Guy Titler and his wife Holly, Betsy Keller and her husband Ken, Marc Titler and his wife Lauren, Kayla Cumpher and her husband Todd, Stacy and Kyle Titler; 10 great-grandchildren, Zack, Kailey, Aidan, Conner, Jack, Emma, Madison, Kenton, Ashton and Elizabeth; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Roy Lewis and Alan Eugene Stevenson; her parents, Roy and Mayme Sharpnack; and two siblings, Glen Sharpnack and Azelma Titler.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Saturday.
James Horak
James R. Horak, 60, of Emsworth, formerly of Bellevue, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010.
Mr. Horak was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a firefighter for the Emsworth Volunteer Fire Co. for many years.
He is survived by three siblings, Linda Horak of Emsworth, David J. Horak of Bellevue and Robert J. Horak of Canonsburg, PA; his nephew, David J. II of Pittsburgh; three nieces, Mary C. of Bellevue, Victoria E. and Alexandra J., both of Canonsburg; a grandnephew, David J. III; and a grandniece, Lydia R. He was preceded in death by his parents, V. James and Evelyn G. Horak.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Friday. Memorials are suggested to the Emsworth Volunteer Fire Department.

Helen Naberezny
Helen "Jean" Hlovchiec Naberezny, wife of the late Michael Naberezny, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010.
Mrs. Naberezny was a member of the League of Ukrainian Catholics. She was an active pyrohi maker for many years.
She is survived by her son, David M. Naberezny and his wife Mary Ann; her sister, Eva Hlovchiec; two grandchildren, Tara Kurta and her husband Michael and David Naberezny Jr. and his wife Wendy;and two great-granddaughters, Mikayla Kurta and Hailey Naberezny. She was preceded in death by her son, John Naberezny; and four siblings, Metro, Michael and John Hlovchiec and Ann Samosky.

Mary Sirianni
Mary Menniti Sirianni, 86, of Mt. Washington, formerly of Sewickley, Bellevue and Falerna, Italy, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Sirianni; three children, Louis Sirianni and his wife Victoria, Rosemary Sirianni and Catherine Sirianni Rees and her husband Robert; three grandchildren, Ana Sirianni Cook and her husband Terry, Julia Rees Luthi and her husband Jake and Bethany Rees; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Thomasina Menniti; and two brothers, Peter and Frank Menniti.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum.

Dennis Babicka
Dennis E. Babicka, 68, of Shaler Township, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010.
Mr. Babicka was retired from Ford Motor Credit, where he worked for 25 years as a credit supervisor. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Brookline American Legion Post #580.
He is survived by his brother, Anthony F. Babicka Jr. and his wife C. Micheala of Crown Point, IN; four nieces and nephews, Gregory P. Babicka and his wife Lori, Louise M. Firestone and her husband Frank, Gary T. Babicka Teresa and Melissa A. Lucero and her husband Craig; and five grandnieces and a grandnephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony F. Sr. and Veronica B. Repko Babicka.

Rev. Dennis Bradley
Rev. Dennis J. Bradley, D.Min, M.Ed., 61, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010.
Rev. Bradley was a 1973 graduate of Duquesne University, where he received his B.A. degree. In 1976, he received the ministry degree at St. Vincent Seminary, a M.Ed. at Duquesne University in 1984 and in 2005, the D.Min. at Pittsburgh Theological. He was ordained in 1977. He served at many parishes, including St. Germaine, St. Peter, St. Sebastian, SS. Jon and Paul and most recently as pastor at St. Simon and Jude Parish.
He is survived by two siblings, Joseph T. Bradley and his wife Julia of Brownstown, IN and Maureen Kearns and her husband Donald of Bethel Park; five nieces and nephews, Matthew and Benjamin Bradley, Alexander, Alyssa and Abby Kearns; dear friends, Bill and Beth Baur; and "Uncle Tennis" to William "BJ," Craig, Chrissy and Vicki. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Eugene and Mary Elise Grabenstein Bradley.

Robert Lucas
Robert Armond Lucas, 69, of Ross Twp., husband of the late Lillian D. Lucas, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
Mr. Lucas owned and managed Lucas Land Surveying Inc. since 1986. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps trained in construction engineering. He served in the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He is survived by four children, Maria Giger and her husband Jeff of Ross Township, Dee Hamilton and her husband Gary of Imperial, PA, Wayne Lucas and his wife Arica of Shaler Township and Matthew Lucas and his wife Deborah of Ohio Township; three siblings, David Lucas, Joan Hughes and Jim Lucas; and seven grandchildren, Katelynne and Kelly Giger, Hannah and Rachel Lucas, Owen Hamilton, Brandon and Tyler Lucas.

Clara Rattay
Clara A. "Claire" Klein Rattay, 84, of Reserve Township, wife of the late Edward A. Rattay, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
She is survived by seven children, Carol LeDonne and her husband Jerome of Reserve, Denise Francis and her husband George of Cranberry, Judith Bahney and her husband Thomas of Ross, Audrey Lindsey of Reserve, Christine Thompson and her husband Richard of Allison Park, Joseph and his wife Carmell of Ben Avon Heights and Harry Rattay of Reserve; her daughter-in-law, Mariann Rattay of Cranberry; her sister, Marion Adams and her husband William of West View; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Rattay; her parents, Joseph A. and Margaret Heeg Klein; her sister, Dolores Schanck; and her grandson, Anthony Rattay.
