Ellen M. Carr Clark, 83, of Emsworth, wife of the late Raymond Clark, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Clark and his wife Rhonda Starkey of Westford, MA and Ed Clark and his wife Patty of Ohio Twp.; two siblings, Phyllis Fellure and Albert Carr; four grandchildren, Ashley Slaney, Chelsey, Alex and Corey Clark; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Thomas, Edmund, Joseph and Kenneth Carr and Lois Korando.

Patrick Sean Stanton, 47, of Manhattan, KS, formerly of Avalon, died Saturday, June 22, 2013.
Mr. Stanton was retired recently from the U.S. Army after serving for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ami Kivak Stanton; two children, Coleman and Nicole; his parents, Jack and Patricia Douglas; three siblings, Coleman, Bridget Gercken and her husband Bill and Byron "Boo" and his wife Chris; and aunts, uncles, a niece, nephews and cousins.

James F. Stanton, 91, of Avalon, formerly of Braddock, died Thursday, June 27, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Rita C. Morado-Stanton; three children, Barbara Allen and her husband Sam of Kansas, Marlene Hamilton of California and Debra Hunter of Pittsburgh; his sister, Liz Johnson of Braddock; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Stanton and Kenneth Stanton.
Friends were received at Robinson Funeral Home, Perry Hilltop, where a celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Uniondale Cemetery.
Michael Brogan, 76, of Ross Township, died Saturday, June 29, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Fenk-Moore Brogan; three children, Michael Brogan and his wife Michelle, Kathy Scott and her husband William and William Brogan and his wife Lynn; four stepchildren, Colleen Moore, James Moore and his wife Rachael, Sandra Nunez and her husband James and Jennifer Vandecoevering and her husband Dean; two sisters, Margaret Malatesta and Ann Szales; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey A. Brogan.

Philip A. Costa, 84, formerly of Avalon and husband of the late Mary Cantella Costa, died Friday, June 28, 2013.
Mr. Costa was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a corporal during World War II in the 4th Infantry Division. He worked at Allis Chalmers for 23 years. He later became partners with his son, Phil, in a painting company in North Hills.
He is survived by three children, Vincent P. Costa and his wife Sandra, Philip A. Costa and Patricia Bichey; two siblings, Frank and Sandy Costa; and two grandsons, Christopher Costa and Nick Bichey. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Josephine Abbinanti, Rose Johnson, Pauline Costa, Sam Costa, Joseph Costa and Mary Krobath; and his son-in-law, Mark

William A. Hungerman, 90, of Avalon, husband of the late Dorothy Shipley Hungerman, died Saturday, June 29, 2013.
Mr. Hungerman was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bellevue Council #1400 and the Church of the Assumption.
He is survived by two children, Ginny Gallagher and her husband Michael and Michael Hungerman and his wife Carrie; six grandchildren, Matthew, Meghan, Ryan, Luke, Set and Evan; and three great-grandchildren, Addison, John and Jaxson. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Hungerman; and seven siblings, Andrew Hungerman, Patricia Howley, Alberta Dresmich, Marie Walla, Joseph Hungerman, Edward Hungerman and Rosemarie Ganzert.

Esther Roth Steinberg, wife of the late Alex Steinberg, died Saturday, June 29, 2013.
She is survived by two children, Barbara Drischler and her husband William of Mesa, AZ and David Steinberg and his wife Barbara of Avalon; her brother, Irwin Roth; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Mollie Friedman, Lillian Schultz, Rose Pincus, Luba Bonn, Pauline Jacobs, Rebecca Roth and her husband Rickie, Benjamin, Louis, Nathan and Joseph Roth.
Friends were received at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Shadyside, where services were held on Tuesday. Burial was in Cneseth Israel Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to a favorite charity.
James Frew Jr.
James Graham Frew Jr., 85, of Kilbuck Township, formerly of Avalon and husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Lavelle Frew, died Sunday, June 30, 2013.
Mr. Frew was retired in 1987 from James G. Frew and Sons Plumbing in Avalon. He was active in the Avalon Borough revitalization. He was a founding member of North Boroughs Sportsmen's Club, a member of Avalon Volunteer Fire Co., a Meals On Wheels driver and a founding member of North Boroughs Midget Football League.
He is survived by three sons, James M. Frew and his wife Michelle A., Thomas G. Frew and Timothy J. Frew and his wife Maureen G.; five grandchildren, Adam J., Rena S. Buckley and her husband Michael, Caitlin M. Devlin and her husband Brian, Tyler G. and Molly M.; and four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Owen, Calder and Nolan. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Frew.

Mary Jane Cammarata Leonetti, 89, of Avalon, wife of the late Ernest J. Leonetti Sr., died Sunday, June 30, 2013.
She is survived by two children, Deborah J. Leonetti of Avalon and Ernest J. Leonetti Jr. of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Sam Cammarata and his wife Peg and Joseph Cammarata and his wife Chris; three grandchildren, Ernest and his wife Jill, Ashley and Johnna; four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cataldo and Lena Cammarata; and four siblings, William Cammarata, Nancy Belmar, Alberta Cammarata and Rose Ann Young.
