James Gordon
James A. Gordon, 85, of Ross Township, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Gordon; three children, Linda Williamson, Rev. James Gordon and Susan Dively; four grandchildren, Kristan Semmler, Matthew Williamson, Andrew Williamson and Jacklyn Prepelka; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Simons Funeral Home, North Hills. A funeral service was held in Christ Church at Grove Farm on Saturday. Charles Guarino
Charles M. Guarino died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010.
He is survived by two brothers, Salvatore Guarino and Joseph F. Guarino of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Josephine Calderone Guarino.

Ruth Tarasi
Ruth A. Eisenreich Tarasi, wife of the late Anthony J. “Tut” Tarasi, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.
She is survived by five children, Wayne A. Tarasi and his wife Arlene, Emily Tarasi, Frank R. Tarasi and his wife Eleanor, Raymond J. Tarasi and his wife Leslie and Paul J. Tarasi; six grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, Julie, Casey, Cal and Ryley; and two great-grandchildren, Giavanna and Bella.

David Kenny
David E. Kenny, 68, of Brighton Heights, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010.
He is survived by two siblings, Martin Kenny and his wife Lois and Patricia Rogers and her husband Pat; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Anna Laslavic Kenny.
Friends were received at Hughes Funeral Home, Troy Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Most Holy Name Church, Troy Hill, on Wednesday.
Jack E. Carlin
Jack E, Carlin, 88, of Massillon, OH, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Oct. 25, 2010.
Mr. Carlin served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed with A&P Grocery for 41 years. He attended First Assembly of God Church in Massillon.
He leaves his son, Jack Carlin and his wife Carol of Massillon; two granddaughters, Kelly Scherr and her husband Jason of Gaithersburg, MD and Michelle Carlin of Phoenix, AZ; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Benjamin Scherr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine, and his sister, Ruth.
Services were held Sunday at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
James Sommers
James Patrick Sommers, 74, of Hampton, formerly of Ben Avon, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lawless Sommers; six children, James Sommers and his wife Marybeth, Suzanne Weiss and her husband Gary, Robert Sommers and his wife Patricia, Bill Sommers, Sherry Knable and her husband John and Sean Sommers and his wife Kelli; and 18 grandchildren.
