The dispute over whether a Kilbuck property owner can build a driveway that exits onto an Emsworth street may move into a new venue, after Emsworth officials announced their decision not to approve the construction.

The presence of attorneys and threats of litigation have marked the debate between Kilbuck property owner Eric Faulkner and Emsworth homeowner Norma Hildenbrand, whose Ohio Street property abuts the proposed driveway location.

Residents of the neighborhood presented council with a petition opposing the driveway at the top of Pennsylvania Avenue, which they say could cause major headaches for the borough depending upon the use of the Kilbuck property.
