Beaver Avenue in Emsworth will now be known as Memorial Drive. The ordinance changing the name of the streets received unanimous approval from Emsworth Council at its Wednesday meeting.

Hoping to eliminate confusion that sent GPS-using truckers looking for the similarly-named street in Pittsburgh onto the small borough roadway, officials took the opportunity to honor borough veterans with the new name.
