It was reported at the Emsworth Council meeting on Sept. 8 that Keystone Collections Group will be taking over the collection of borough taxes and payroll withholding as of Jan. 1, 2012.

That service currently is provided by Central Tax Service.

The appointment of Keystone Collections was approved by the Allegheny North Tax Collection District at its meeting on Aug. 25. Emsworth and the other North Boroughs municipalities and school districts are part of that district.
