A Bellevue man was scheduled for a preliminary hearing yesterday after being arrested in connection with a shooting in Wilkinsburg.
David Hickman, 50, of Washington Avenue, was taken into custody June 12 by Bellevue Police. He was being held in the Allegheny County Jail on a $50,000 bond after being charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and terroristic threats.
Firefighters, police and medics responded when a woman fell through a staircase at a Dakota Avenue home on Monday. Firefighters had to cut away the steps to reach the woman, who was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with a head injury.

Steven Chapman, 24, of Florence Avenue, was charged with violating a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order on June 7.
Gilbert Millstine III, 42, of South Ohio Street, Avalon, was charged with DUI on Grant Avenue on June 8.
James West, 58, of Barclay Hill Road 15009 was arrested for DUI on Route 65 on June 8.
On June 12, Phillip Rowland, 50, of Dawson Avenue, was charged with simple assault and
making terroristic threats following an incident at his home.
Muhammed Karim, 43, of Lincoln Avenue, was charged with PFA violation on June 15.
Raymond Jenkins, 64, of Allegheny Avenue, North Side, was taken into custody on a warrant from Allegheny County on June 15. He also was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident at the Dollar General store.
Sandra Lowry, 61, of Orchard Avenue, was arrested for retail theft.
