Because many of the Avalon pool life guards will be returning to college soon, the pool will be open with limited hours using high school students as life guards.

Bellevue passes will not be honored, officials stated.

The new hours are: Aug. 23 - 27, 11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.; weekend hours remain unchanged, noon - 6 p.m.; Aug. 30 - Sept.7, 11 - 5 p.m.
