On Dec. 17, an Avalon resident reported to police that someone stole a winning lottery ticket from his vehicle.

On Dec. 18, Andrew Gorsuch, 31, of Avalon, was cited for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

A resident reported the theft of packages from his porch on Dec. 21.

Max Ringer, 50, of Avalon, was arrested for public drunkenness on Dec. 22.

Following a traffic stop on Dec. 23, Britney Gibson, 32, of Avalon and Tawana Hamilton, 40, of McKees Rocks, were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Following a different traffic stop on Dec. 23, Matthew Bennett, 48, of Bellevue, was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana.

On Dec. 23, John Michael Connors, 32, of McKees Rocks, was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance..

On Dec. 27, a Harrison Avenue resident reported a theft.

Michelle Schoenhardt, 31, of Pittsburgh, was arrested for public drunkenness on Dec. 28.

Harold Ohm, 44, of Avalon, was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana on Dec. 28.

On Dec. 29, Avalon Police officers were dispatched to Jackman Avenue concerning fraud.

On Dec. 20, Michael Gallo, 35, of Coraopolis and Justin Richards, 38, of Rochester, were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

On Jan. 2, Avalon Police responded to a hit and run accident at South Birmingham Avenue.
